New patient seeking help for lower left tooth and jaw pain. Got an appointment the same day I called. Patient information was already available through Rural Health Group data source, so check in was fast and easy. Receptionist was welcoming and friendly. X-rays were completedly quickly with little to no discomfort. Xrays were read immediately, shown to me, and treatment options discussed. Tooth nerve root was infected and had to be pulled. Local anesthesia was given with very little discomfort. Ample time was given for numbing to take effect. Both the dentist and hygenist checked on me while waiting for numbness to be complete. The dentist checked for lack of pain before beginning extraction. I was told exactly what was being done at each step, and what effects I should expect. Although I was advised I might feel a lot of pressure, I really didn't experience any, and my tooth slid out fairly quickly and easily. They offer a sliding scale payment option for patients without insurance, and I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of today's visit. Any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction, and I was on my way within an hour and a half from my arrival. I look forward to having Jackson Dental take care of my dental needs from now on.
